Shane Teo

With a background in marketing and degree in commerce, Shane Teo brings a skillset for success to the real estate industry. Drawn to the profession from a young age, Shane recognised that purchasing property is something everyone yearns to do in their lifetime and he had a natural desire to help individuals on their journey.

His commerce background also gives him an appreciation of real estate as “an asset class and investment vehicle that I believe it is the most powerful wealth building tool.”

“But of course the biggest reward for me in real estate is helping people, using my knowledge and expertise,’’ Shane said.

Relocating from Malaysia to Melbourne at age 12, Shane boarded at Scotch College before completing his secondary studies at Peninsula Grammar, followed by his degree in Commerce (Major in Marketing/Interactive Marketing) at Deakin University.

Also qualified with a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate), Shane relishes the importance of genuine connection with clients in the real estate industry. He brings years of experience in face-to-face interaction in fast-pace work environments that revolved around customer service and delivering a tailored experience to individuals.

“I believe it is essential for the client to know they are being looked after and their needs are being taken care of. My goal is to always go beyond what is expected and do more than what is required.”

Local to the Mornington Peninsula where he calls Mount Martha home, in his free time Shane is passionate about is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he’s been doing since 2012 (“everyone should try it at least once!”) and snowboard in the cooler months.
