Ray White wins gold at REB Awards again

By Mikaela Fowler

RAY White Group, Australasia’s largest real estate group, has taken out the top industry accolade for Major Network of the Year at the 2020 Real Estate Business (REB) awards for the fifth year in a row.

The award cements the leading group’s success during a rollercoaster year which saw a strong increase in the family-owned and led group’s sales market share.

The Real Estate Business Awards, in their eighth year, are open to every professional and real estate group. They awards recognise the best operators across a range of categories.

In accepting the accolade held via zoom, Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White said he was humbled to win the award for the fifth year in succession. He praised the hard work of all Ray White members.

“This award is a reflection of every single Ray White member and their relentless commitment to improving the experience they provide our customers,” Mr White said.

“Without their energy, ambition and determination to go above and beyond, this award simply wouldn’t have been possible.

“We ignored all the headlines and headwinds telling us that it was going to be a bad year in 2019 and we were able to increase our market share to the highest level ever. It’s still growing now.

“We navigated through the Federal Election and the Banking Royal Commission to be faced with the bush fires and then the COVID-19 pandemic but our members are amazingly resilient. We are humbled to be made up of 10,000 incredible individuals.

“It would have been easy to retreat and shut up shop when faced with all this adversity but we pushed harder to find solutions for our customers. When our customers needed us the most we delivered. So I am very proud of the hard work, effort and decision making of the network in 2019 and into 2020.

“Special thanks goes to our incredible corporate teams across the country – many of whom are working in isolation but delivering world class solutions. We’re never satisfied and always seeking to improve in all areas of our business.”
